Treasures

I know one thing for sure, my spouse has a keen eye,

Looking for relics on the road as we pass by.

Once when alone, he stumbles upon some chairs,

The woman who discarded knew not her Earthly wares.

These chairs were from the late 18th Century,

Little did I know and wanted bad to see!

The upholsterer told us these were works of art,

If so, should he even tear these chairs apart?

The beauty in these chairs are truly quite unique,

The wonders of my spouse and the things he can seek.

Clients of the upholsterer so badly want to buy,

The chairs in the corner that clearly caught their eye.

\"Not for sale!\" he said in a very stern voice,

All we can do, is sit back and Rejoice!

For the treasures that he finds merely passing through,

Maybe some day, this person could be you!
