\"More About Alcoholism\" -Ramshackle Glory, 2016

Gorm, some guy I used to know

Wanted to drive trucks

He wanted just 3 letters

But instead, had a \"bad day\"

Gorm, the dude who used to come around

Always stood up for himself

But never in front of you

Always beside you

Gorm, some guy I had a smoke with

Sat on stoops and lamented his luck

My own rabbit foot has since shriveled up

I\'ve spent all my karma

But Gorm, the tough son of a gun I knew

Kept on truckin\'

He wouldn\'t ever get in a big rig

Pull a j-brake or get a callsign

I bet it\'d be something interesting

Like Peregrine, or Arpeggio

It seems like he\'ll do a 180

Or maybe not move at all

Then he\'d really be Gorm

Gorm, the man we used to see

Started a job and dreamt of California

Listened to calls and wrote reports

Gorm, the fella who left the next day

Never to be heard from again

Despite the usual parties and convertibles

Gorm, the guy that faded away

Wanted to be alone, but social

Kept a healthy distance

Because closeness in unhealthy for him

It falls in layers, suffocating

And in its death throes he lashes out

Gorm, the guy that just took off
