Viewpoint

You see what you see

From where you sit

But look from another angle

And see a different side of it

The same can be said

Of most any subject

Be it news hot off the press

Or any simple object

Look at it one way

A precarious view

Then move to either side

Suddenly something new

Your opinion on anything

You’re rightly entitled to

And think you’ll never budge from

Then stand in someone else’s shoes

But seen from all sides

You’ll know more than you knew

Just depends on your viewpoint

And a re-educated you
