I’m here again
At this place I’ve been before
Wondering how, wondering why
In buddhism they call this samsara
To slowly walk in a circle and not know it
Ending back where you started to cycle through the pain again
My life is like this
I realize the beginning, and head off in a new direction
New hope, new meaning...but then I circle
Old habits, set emotions, turning slightly every time
Every new beginning so bold, so brave
Always turning, sometimes big, sometimes small
Coming back to the beginning
They say it is because the space is so big, so open
You can’t see the horizon, so you turn, not knowing
Nothing to set your eyes on, no fixed point
Turning, turning, back at the beginning
Anger
Frustration
Suffering
Start again, try a little harder, a little different
No horizon, no point...turn
Always forward, never straight, turn
Angry, lost, turn
Beginning...crazy!
Cry, rage, confused, weak, accusing, hurt
Breathe, look in, let go
Forgive, believe
Close my eyes, find a fixed point
Trust myself
Walk
Straight
