Permanently engraved in my mind.
August 11th.
This was the day everything
I loved
Escaped.
My hands were held open
Longing for your fingers
To lace between mine.
But instead, they were
Stood up.
The day that broke me
Was the day you said I
Wasn\'t worth it.
You no longer cared about
My hand holding yours
Or my lips kissing yours
Or my eyes looking into yours
Or my heart beating for
You.
August 11th is a day
I am always re-living.
Because
