SOME think my Poems Lyrical
SOME say I\'m too Satirical
MY SUBJECTS staid Empirical !
But ERATO is my MUSE
Why should I Her help refuse ?
A MORTAL MAN ~ She\'ll not excuse
ONE of the Sacred Muses NINE
All are LADIES so DIVINE
NOW I am HERS and SHE is MINE !
