Sitting here in the garden all alone
I hear birds chirp
The fountain flows
The wind blows
And the flowers smell sweet
Everything is calm and peaceful
But it\'s too quiet
It\'s giving me too much time
To think about my life;
About my flaws
About my worries
About my pain
About everything negative
But I\'m surrounded by beauty
Pink Roses
Violet Irises
White Queen Anns Lace
Clear, pure water
Delicately carved rocks
A bright, shinning sun
Yet all I can think about are my problems
They are consuming me
Like a tornado devours
And destroys everything
In its path;
Only dust
And devastation remain
I can see the beauty in the garden
But not in my own life
