Butterflies and Grapes

You see the dreaded caterpillar

A violet’s enemy devourer

I see the ensuing butterfly

Whose proboscis sipped the nectar dry

The first has vision incomplete

The second has a view that’s sweet

The first’s concern is losing money

The second looks forward to the honey

I have a grapevine overgrown

Over the fence and tree it’s flown

“Cut-it-down!” you say; I say “Please save”

For kids it makes a perfect cave

You have a vision of loss and bother

And my eyes vision sees another

There really is no wrong or right

It all depends on the seer’s sight
