Whispers, whispers in her ear.
I tell her I love her, and I\'ll always be near.
She holds me tighter, and plays with my hair.
And I know in that second she knows I\'ll be there.
What would I do without this baby of mine?
She filled me with life, and from God was my sign.
She taught me to love more than just myself.
All my selfish ways had been placed on a shelf.
I must keep her safe, and help her grow without strife.
For she is my baby, my heart, my whole life.
So I sing her a song, and I hold her tight.
I rub her back, and tell her goodnight.
I stare at her in awe, and I melt at the seams.
Because she is the baby in all of my dreams.
