Psalm 18 part
********
I will love you, O LORD, you are my strength
E\'en now at length
The LORD my rock, my fortress, here I stay
And constant pray
He my deliverer, my God always
My strength lasting sure, unto endless days
In Him will I trust, He my buckler* too (* a small round shield)
Shall me renew
He the horn#, the strength of my salvation (# a symbol of strength and power)
The holy one
I will call on Him, worthy to be praised
Is He, from my enemies has up raised
So calling on Him I shall thus be saved
Rescue not waived
But He did unto my help come, I called
Mercy not stalled
In my distress I to Him, came, provide
For me I pray, for you none there beside
For who is a rock, except God the LORD
His living word
Does He give unto us, he does us save
His help He gave
He girds me with strength, makes my way perfect
And too \'tis true for each of His elect
My steps you have enlarged now under me
I firm shall be
My feet not slip, but in an even place
By your good grace
My enemies I overtook, consumed
Trusting in you, not in my strength presumed
I will give you thanks, you deliver me
And set me free
From all the power of the enemy
Here so it be
Mercy and grace to His people He shows
And His anointed favours each one knows
