I\'m stepping through the threshold from dreams to my will
And into scenes that make my fantasies seem dismal
My imagination comes to life and new ideas come to light with each new step I take
I can\'t stop forseeing new and exciting futures
Yet, if none of them come to fruition, it\'s perfect as well;
I love where I am right now
Yet on I keep stepping, falling in love all over again
And the fireworks of life keep exploding so loud that even in in times of silence
Their echoes leave my eardrums pleasantly numb
And in darkness, the afterburn of their lights still lingers in my vision
But no matter how bright they shine, I don\'t rely on my vision to guide me
Just my heart to guide the way
and from one who sees in my heart\'s direction, a gentle push;
Gentle enough that I may remain standing
Firm enough that I must catch myself
One foot forward, I catch myself, taking the first step in my heart\'s direction
A step untaken if not for your hands upon my back
Your understanding of where I\'m meant to go
And your gentle push
Gentle indeed
Yet firm enough
Right off from my dreams, I\'m stepping in my heart\'s direction
Into the threshold of my will
