In the morning when hubby and kids leave me alone
Some of my day is spent on the computer or phone
Some of it I spend cleaning--I\'m in the zone!
But my heart aches
I pick up the toys my daughter left behind
Already wish we could put the morning on rewind
I wonder what other treasures my daughter left me to find
But my heart misses you
Maybe I\'ve had coffee with a friend
But that will come to an end
I can\'t wait to come home to you and tend
Because my heart knows it\'s almost time!
And then you all come rushing through the door!
I ask you how your day was. Sit and tell me I implore!
And hug you all and love you to your core!
Because my heart is happy!
