At times I seek a coldness I cant shake
Broken and lounging down by the lake
With brittle bones and frozen winds
Such memories I can’t amend
At times I seek the coldness late
A darkness bound for the God of hate
The chill of night that freezes bone
This water now I call it home
At times I seek the heart that takes
One that may steal and then may break
A resonance of heart, mine and theirs
A still response of silent air
For once I find that heart so sour
In I will be love and now shall devour
That taste of blood still fresh on my lips
The lake now rejoices and I will submit
