Laughter and locking eyes are our opal moments
In each colour and shade they are fleeting
Hiding from purpose and questions and meaning
But I remember each light as fond memories of old friends
Those lights are my lighthouse
That they can\'t comprehend
Asking me why I grin as I do, in the mundane and routine repeating
All I can say is that this opal light is my fix
And after all, my happiness will never be fleeting
