Green Thumb
She can grow anything
On any type of ground
A love of life she always brings
To every plant she’s found
She repots some and transplants others
And waters all just right
Every plant she patiently mothers
Regardless of the type
She sometimes wears her gardening gloves
And dons a big straw hat
She nurtures plants with her love
And they respond to that
Many plants have their flowers
Like roses and carnations
She prunes them all faithfully
And improves their presentation
Every spring she goes to bring
Little flowers from the store
She always buys many more
With the beautiful flowers galore
Her perennials surely profit well
And the annuals too
There’s simply not a single flower
That she cannot improve
