Litterbug Litterbug, Shame On You
Take a look around
And tell me what you see
Can you see the ground?
Is it as clean as it should be?
The strongest pull of guilt
On your conscience a big tug
As you carelessly toss your trash
Don’t you feel like a Litterbug?
Remember the old limerick
“Litterbug Litterbug, shame on you”
You barely gave it a thought
And now the Litterbug is you
Not all that hard
To hold onto that trash
Till you get to where you’re going
And in the rubbish you can stash
You see the “NO LITTERING” signs
But you don’t really care
You say it’s not your problem
Until one day it holds your stare
A global responsibility
We all must do our part
Use a little common sense
And think with your heart
We belong to the Earth
Not the other way around
Please remember this BEFORE
You toss your trash on the ground
