Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves you decieve me.

How closely you resemble, on cloudy days,

The way sun beams play in trees.

Temporarily, I smile.

Remembering those rays, remembering lovely days.

Oh leaves, I see past your guile.

Thinking of those summer days,

Dreaming of light, of life, what is was like,

Can not keep me from the truth.

Winter is coming. I know it is.

Too long have I reminisced, hiding from the cold.

Autumn leave you decieve me. Please will you go.
