Hard For Us to Fly

Needles in a dirty red reservoir,
Regulations took away from the experience
And made it hard for them to fly,
That\'s probably for the best.

Fiends all of them, but my love doesn\'t wander far
From the intended target,
Everyone.

An Army, up against old lies
The officials try to fight but they\'re gone,
On my floors many stains,
I worked hard to get them out.

Bursts of life and sprinkling of death fill me at every hour
I hope to be 45,
Sometimes I wonder if I ever am
Truly Alive.

Of the ways of life to be ranked
Mine close to the top,
God gave it to me and I\'d fight to the death to keep it.

Blatant disregard for humanity,
Middle aged men sit in a pool of their own hatred
I hope they will see.

Although, she loves me
Her hypocrisy makes her dishonorable,
What woman beats on a friend for his loneliness,
His lack of freedom,
His sense of self?
I love her,
But she burns down bridges I put up,
In her honor
She runs way.
