Old Friends

Dear old friend,
Have you come for a visit?
A sneak peek at my life
like its some kind of exhibit.
Thinking that once you were
apart of my gimmick
creates a special kind of sickness;
which brings me to my knees.

Knowing at one point that
I was just your tease,
you\'ve thoroughly disgusted me.

Your life style was full of temptations,
but your realities weren\'t far from contagious.
You were lazy, stupid and dull
you lived to be a troll.
you thought that all that wouldn\'t take a toll?

Look at you now, we\'re growing old.

you\'ve had a sweet, bright baby,

will he hold?
With parents like you, his brain will mold.

The fact that some of you people were titled my friends
makes me want my life to end.
My will was bent to keep you friends,
but like all bitter things, they end.

The decision was mine to be made
\'should you go?\' or \'should you stay?\'
very few people have made  me gay.

Sorry what did you say, \"Hello\" ?
Oh, hell no. Just turn around and go.

I was young and dumb once but I\'ve gotten clever,
I got sick of being shoved in the mud so I got better,
I worked hard to get where I am, I\'m a go-getter.

I am where I am because now I know,
the people you should love should make you feel at home
not ever-lost, and continuing to roam.
