Thanksgiving time is coming,
New memories to be made.
Dad positions the golden turkey,
Beneath the shiny blade.
The slices have all been plated,
With dressing on the side.
All items have been completed,
And served with a dose of pride.
The family finally comes together,
No one is left alone.
We even try to manage,
To shut off the nagging phone.
The OMG will still be waiting,
No need to rush and see.
You will find life has more to offer,
Than just an O-M-G.
So spend this time together,
Don\'t rush it by too fast.
