It is something that I don’t take lightly, nor do I understand.
Just one whiff as you pass by, my senses sharpen.
Catching your scent as if tasting the sky.
Every time dusk arrives, you rewind me back to blissful energy.
The invisible snow that drops on my forehead, you planted it.
The stars of jade, lavender, violet, and blue hues make up the eyes behind those windows.
Those windows that look far into the distance straight towards mine.
O, how is it that you are mine and only mine
The waterfall that washes away my sorrows, worries, frustrations, the security, my security.
Your melodic heartbeats sing lullabies that are in sync with the invisible rain.
I meet you again upon the dark colored shores.
Those blue hues change to those of vanilla twilight.
We cannot stay till dusk, wishing upon a shooting star or an airplane.
I can only savor the little time we have.
