I was just a scrawny, brown eyed girl,
Searching, trying to find my place in the world.
From scouts to ballet and trombone,
You had to do it all and do it all alone.
Moodswings to mood rings
And everything in between,
You worked, nutured, and cleaned
So that we could have everything we dreamed.
For all you gave up and all that you are,
Was for us with all the love in your heart.
Thank you Mom for being the best,
Even though your patience we did test.
