It is evident with the beaks
That all birds aren’t the same
Darwin said it first
And a theory he proclaimed
The Galapagos Islands
Were his proving ground
with some finches cracking seeds
better than others found
It was natural selection
Darwin carefully professed
with some finches better fit
to survive and have a nest
Some birds are better suited
To fill a niche they find
Mother nature works this way
And is at work all the time
