You caught me
Quite by surprise
When “Hi” you softly said
And I fell into your eyes
Maybe it’s my imagination
But in your eyes I thought I saw
A sparkle of light
That left me in total awe
In that brief moment
I felt your touch upon my heart
And there you left
Your own beautiful art
Do I believe my own rational?
Where I typically doubt myself
Or can I afford to
Jump down from that lonely shelf
Is it wishful thinking
That makes me dream of you
That my prayers to God
Have been answered by you
Guess I’m left to just my prayers
That the sparkle in your eyes
Is really just for me
Giving a wink to the skies
