Nature Understood
The image before him
How it pulls on his soul
The very core of his being
The chatter of bird song
Smells of flowers in gentle breeze
Whispers in the pines
Conversing with the trees
He takes in the view
With adoring eyes
He’s more than the common man
As few men ever realize
Is far and wide
Mountains mirrored in calm lakes
While they reach for the sky
His silent wonder of Shooting Stars
This a blessing he knows
Much like the anticipation
Of a full moon’s glow
A mirrored scene all around him
Is he looking outwards?
Or maybe at beauty within
Nature understood
