Comes the birth of a new warrior

Ready to accept downfalls
vigilant to not lose sight
Crippled with the fear of failure
Inspired by honesty throughout
Heavily burdened shoulders
With the weight of self loathing and regret.
Intimidated by life\'s expectancies
To perform conform and progress
The price for my past decisions
Are paid every time I close my eyes
The unrelenting grip of guilt
Every time I look inside
What does it mean to be a warrior?
What does it take to win the fight?
Perhaps I will find all the answers
Once the questions no longer fright
So as I search for all the answers
I will push forward with courage and hope
