Wake up at six,
Out the door by seven.
Leaving from home,
Descending from heaven.
Learning new things,
That we will never use.
Students missing assignments,
And making up an excuse.
And when the day is done,
We can all go home.
And go outside on the lawn,
To play and freely roam.
Or you can be like me,
Stay inside and chill.
Playing video games,
And enjoying the thrill.
But when the day ends,
And everyone is asleep,
You now just remember,
The giant homework heap.
And when you think it’s finished,
All the work has been done.
You then notice, on the table,
The remaining last one.
You finish the last,
And the sun starts shining,
But then you realize,
It’s Saturday morning.
