Resting Place

The waves consumed her final breath, the ocean claimed her as it\'s own,
A tranquil silence overcame her, she was no longer scared to be alone.

The pain was slowly lifted, as the lights faded from view,
The water was her home now, it used to be with you.

You took every piece she offered, left her empty and destroyed,
You took the soul out of her body, with her heart you only toyed.

She once worshiped the ground you walked on, hung on your every breath,
Now they only thing she hangs on to, is her nearing painless death.

As the darkness takes her body, and the currents pull her away,
She\'s hopes one day you will realise, just what you thew away.
