Preyed Upon
There once was a bumblebee
That lost his life very suddenly
The praying mantis tore him apart
but lost his life to a meadow lark
The meadow lark flew away
To hunt again another day
A sparrow hawk watched him hide
And sank his talons in his side
The sparrow hawk ceased to be
To a hawk bigger than he
The larger one spent his day
Perched up high where he preyed
