The Sunrise in My Heart
From the darkness
Of my troubled heart
I see on the horizon
A new brightness start
With the coming of a new day
I have been found
I see there’s still
Enough love to go around
Life is too short
Not to try and smile
Got to give it your best
All the while
Let it shine in you
All through the night
Till stars grow dim
With dawn’s early light
Leaving hurt and pain behind
Let the darkness fall away
Bring on the sun
To shine again today
I’ll discard my frowns
For its time they depart
I’m born again with
The sunrise in my heart
