Cobbled Steps.

Cobbled steps brimming with overflow and dew
Down beside old Tower Bridge Gate
Where people jostle with some towers
Madame Tussauds it\'s all brand new.

Pavements flourish step by step wonders
Old pub songs sing a song for Charlie
Where whistling became a workman
Of these good old-fashioned Londoners.

High street piano performances with humbled flair
Attires are worn with boundless colour fixation
Those dazzling days filled with sunshine and rays
Heavens above when they lay our heads down there.

Thames tidal wave washed away a Wobble or two
Fishing nets caught up in boats and a Carribean hat
Smelly fisherman scent the sweet taste of wine
Pretending to tip ya hat and a how\'d ya do?

Butterflies flap over dragonfly dreams
Down where the sewage rats roam and breed
Drainpipe city flared up that night
When they all dispersed into teams.

So Hickory Dickory dock full stop
Amongst the seaweed and the sailors
Tith Rum and Whiskey taking parade
Oh, the young deckhand did drop.

And set sail the seven wonders of why?
To question from outside in
With a smog so scary and dirty
Smoke a cigar and don\'t be shy.

Lobster pots and scallop dredge attire
In rusty metal, they did wear
Stained upon the concrete floor
Home for supper and the fire.
