Ants

Chemically signposted paths and

highways;

Ant finds his life ways,

holding his world

in his chemical knowledge.

Left or right; right and wrong, right?

It’s a song, right?

Write.

Electrically signposted paths and

highways.

Man finds his life ways

in a fleshy sponge of his

Brainy thoughts.

He thinks he knows the gods?

Ha!

Tinfoil Hat!

Amused, he sees them toil;

Dragging twin twigs to their pyramids.

Into their midst,

He drops a bee or worm.

Then boredom-worn

Armageddon,

Wellington boot catastrophe.

His wellies stomp

and garden hose

tsunamies, floods, destroys.

Destroys, destroys their hopes and homes,

homos and hoes, destroys, destroys.

Destroys their golden calves.

Satisfied...

God retires,

to play elsewhere...

In His Omniscient Knowledge.
