When I listen to their music
I feel as if the sound waves are projections of my soul pouring into the atmosphere.
The sounds calm me,
Ground me,
Make me feel alive,
Make me feel whole.
But, last night.
I wish last night would have lasted forever.
Standing in the crowd,
Lights shining on my face,
I could feel the sound vibrating in my chest.
With my hands raised above my head,
Palms to the sky,
Music hugging every inch of my body,
I now realize that the sound waves were pouring into my soul.
I was one with the music. I was whole.
