Within those dark, uncaring eyes,
They reach inside your head.
And with their wraithlike tendrils,
They bind you to the bed.
They\'ve found you in their darkened gaze
Its impossible to think.
You\'re left in an unmoving haze
In the quilts you start to sink.
Shadow people don\'t exist.
In the light that\'s plain to see
But it is an unnerving twist,
That in the night they come for me.
