When I was younger, I would get excited,
By the things I would hear on the news.
I would easily go into a rant mode,
And spend hours expressing my views.
Time has erased my frustrations,
And taught me to be humble and kind.
The rants may help ease my emotions,
But doubtful they are changing a mind.
Deep breaths will bring all the stress down,
Or maybe you can just go for a stroll.
I have learned to save all my efforts,
For things I know I can control.
You can start by turning off the TV.,
And then just switch off your cell.
Go take a walk out in nature,
Stop and give the flowers a smell.
Life is too short to be stressing,
About the things that may be.
Don\'t worry so much about the future,
Fight only the battles you can see.
