Time to get lit
to sit up and
take notice.
There are more people
asleep than awake and
all it would take is
creative input
to put them
wise to the way of
Today.
And Today is a wonderful way
to begin to begin
to pin back my ears and hear
the birdsong,
to put
one foot in front of the other
and move along.
I guess the weekend sends me
moments that lend me
happy times.
