Tune & Hymn: Ode To Joy
*********
There is a party I cannot
Attend yet, \'tis not my lot
There a parade is, streets of gold
Joys and wonders true, untold
My mother she is the grand guest
While on earth she did her best
The angels her heavenly hosts are
Excelling earth\'s good by far
Yes, there bright lights, part favour
Beautiful cake, sweet savours
Cake decorated, silver, rose
Feast fit for a King, each knows
He shall be there, Him we praise, sing
One voice in unison ring
Yet my mother\'s special day \'tis
Wings shining, plays harp with bliss
There they need no special learning
Inspired, their hearts e\'er burning
For the blind now see, the deaf hear
Sights and sounds perfect appear
Though in earthly life, if poor we
Through blindness and illness be
Yet my mother\'s spirit ne\'er broke
Nothing could it quench or choke
She made journey some time ago
Happy memories I know
A soul fighting, she did finish
O\'ercame and gained victory all
So play your stringed harp vibrantly!
Enjoy your great feast for free!
Flutter your wings, beauteous, golden!
You fair among women, men
And see through your emerald eyes!
Your spirit soars, never dies
Walk safely those streets of gold bright!
Now you have perpetual sight
And finally, when this earth here
Through its troubled path I steer
I myself shall take up harp too
We shall both make music new
We shall make music together
In Rapture, parted never
Making sweetest sounds that no ear
Here on earth can know or hear
The spiritual tunes that only
Can be played by saved souls free
Seeing, singing, met in heaven
Endless glories await then
