She stared ahead in silence,
After waiting for so long.
She wanted it to be perfect,
And even played their song.
She had worn his favorite perfume,
Her eyes a golden brown.
She had poured her shapely body,
Inside a long red gown.
The front dipped down much lower,
And framed her cleavage well.
The excitement of the moment,
Had made her nipples swell.
It was his eyes that finally told her,
It was clear he wanted more.
Anticipation made her tremble,
As the gown fell to the floor.
He picked her up and held her,
Not a word was ever said.
The candles lit a pathway,
As he carried her to bed.
Her naked body like a present,
bathed in candle light.
The warmth clouded his senses,
And lasted through the night.
The morning found them sleeping,
Her head upon his chest.
His words always said \"I love you\",
But his actions said it best.
