The problem with being nice
Is that being stuck in the middle
Is inevitable.
Opposing forces pull
To each side.
No consideration for the battle
They form in our minds.
No guidance for which way
To turn.
Not even our guts can
Make the decision.
All we can do is close our eyes
Inhale the clean air
Exhale the conflict
And allow the goodness
To flow through our bodies.
