The Lord hear you, for He
Open to your prayers be
Name of God of Israel
Defend you, you fare well
Send you help from his sanctuary
Strengthen you out of Zion, see
May He remember too
Your offerings anew
Accept your sacrifice
Burnt for Him, will suffice
May He grant you your heart\'s desire
Fulfil your counsel, purpose far
We in you salvation
Will rejoice, your nation
And in your name we will
Set up our banners still
Name of our God, He strong and high
Fulfil our petitions, He nigh
Now the Lord saves I know
His anointed does show
His Messiah, He still
Shall show Him His good will

With saving strength bring victory
He will by His right hand
Save out of every land
Those that in Him do trust
Though we mere soil and dust
Some trust in chariots, horses
