SPRING ~ A Word Flow Sonnet

SPRING MEADOW ~ EVERY COLOUR OF THE RAINBOW

SPRING  is bursting out all OVER

OVER  the Hills and MEADOWS

MEADOWS  filled with new grass & FLOWERS

FLOWERS ~ every colour of the RAINBOW

RAINBOW  high in the Sky after RAIN

RAIN  to refresh flowers ~ but not DAMAGE

DAMAGE  in the UK ~ caused by HAILSTONES

HAILSTONES ~ Great Balls of Ice ~ Lethal to PETALS

PETALS  of Daffodils ~ Crocuses & TULIPS !

TULIPS  come later ~ mostly in APRIL

APRIL  showers are warm and gentle to PLANTS

PLANTS  are Ladylike ~ more robust than you THINK !

THINK  of the Snowdrops ~ cheeky poking through SNOW

SNOW  in the UK has now gone away ~ It\'s SPRING !

Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ love BRIAN

STRUCTURE:  In a Word Flow poem the poem must

begin and end with the same word (here it is SPRING).

Also the LAST WORD in each line becomes the FIRST

WORD in the subsequent line ~ OK !  I have capitalised

the first and last words for emphasis ~ OK !
