Foreign State

The particles,

Moving in a spiral motion around me.

My eyes, glistening globes staring at them as they radiate a luminescent light.

They lift my body up as if I weighed nothing.

Simply floating, mind blank, this rapturous state brings me back to sanity.

This somber emotion dulls, no longer consuming what’s left of this grey matter.

This feeling, so foreign.

In this slight second, I’m addicted.

I’m addicted to the ecstasy that has been brought to my soul.

The alarm rings, and this vision, this vision of prosperity gets sucked up into a black hole.

The stars around me collapse, and I’m left eyes anxious.

Back with the dark room that feeds off of me, back to the never ending controversy in my head.
