Lady Dale

Robin

You come in the cold, when winter is nigh.
Use your wings to fly, up high in the sky.
Looking for food, in the trees and on the ground.
Searching for shelter, wandering all around.

You are beautiful and unique, with your little red breast.
With this feature you stand out from all the rest.
You make a nest to take care of your young
Do people remember the tune you sung.

You can be fierce, protective of your home.
A lot of the time you are seen alone.
Flying high, you’re as free as can be.
Oh, how I wish that could be me.
