WHEN I was a Kid
All the Adults told me to **** UP !
Shut UP ~ Grow UP ~ Get UP
Stand UP ~ Sit UP ~ Cheer UP !
I knew UP was the opposite of DOWN
And I was also told / ordered to .....
Sit DOWN ~ Stand DOWN ~ Lie DOWN
We could also use UP in a negative way !
Give UP ~ Fed UP ~ What\'s UP ?
I am still learning new expressions
Of the UPS & DOWNS and INS & OUTS of LIFE
All I know that is ~ on balance .....
I would rather be UP than DOWN
I would rather be IN than OUT ~ AMEN !
