Psalm 1

Places in life, walking, standing, sitting
Who shall be blessed, have lives so befitting?
They that walk not in counsel ungodly
Nor that stand in way of sinners, not be
Nor sit in the seat of the proud, scornful
But avoid these states, steer clear of them all
They who are blessed, they delight in the law
Of the LORD, and by it they set great store
In His law do they focus, meditate
Day and night of things that be true and great
Yes, spending time always in His pursuits
And so shall be like a tree with deep roots
Like a tree planted by the rivers pure
Which shall then bring forth fruit in season sure
Their leaves also shall not wither or fade
Whatsoe\'er they do shall prosper, fine grade
The ungodly not so, but in their day
Are like the chaff which the wind drives away
Therefore ungodly in [the] judgement [shall] not stand
Nor sinners in the congregation\'s land
For the LORD knows the way of righteous, see
But way of ungodly perished shall be
Continue in His way, follow His word
And love and serve Him, He our living Lord
