Colossians 2 v.9-23

In Christ does dwell all the fullness
Of God, it be nothing less
He full human, full divine He
Through endless ages shall be
And we are complete in Him, see
He head of all powers be
And o\'er all principalities
He rules, from Him evil flees
Christ does take our sinful nature
To His cross, nails it there sure
When He died our old selves died too
Now in Him we are made new
And no accusations can stand
Against us, for by His hand (Spirit)
He has blotted them out, and we
Forgiven by Him, set free
So no extra items needed
Christ has done it all indeed
Lived, suffered, died, and rose again
Saviour of all living men (mankind)
Pride, vanity, and selfishness
Causes us ourselves to bless
And to try salvation to gain
Human efforts useless, vain
Here no special elite knowledge
Nor our bravery, courage
Can obtain our way to heaven
Look to Christ, see Him again
He the sacrifice, offering
Redemption He does us bring
And we complete in Him, all we
Provided by Him, here see
