EVERYONE likes a sea-view from their house
Everyone likes to live near the Coast
Or if you\'re rich ~ A Holiday Home
Where on the beach we can roast !
We love the sound of the Seagulls
Collect shells and walk on the sand
But sand\'s not a good foundation
House slip into Sea was not planned !
Coast to land ratio\'s important
Some Countries have no Coast at all !
But if your house is too close to edge
One day into Sea ~ You will FALL !

It\'s not surprising ~ Sea level is rising
Climate change more severe than before !
It\'s such a shame ~ but who can we blame ?
The blame lies with you and with me
No heed the warning ~ about Global Warning
So we\'ve all ended up ~ IN THE SEA !

Due to sea level rise and climate change it is estimated
that Britain will lose over 70 Coastal Dwellings per year
The UK has a high Coast to Land Area ratio (51.4) which
is similar to other Islands (New Zealand ~ Iceland ~ Fiji
Haiti etc) The USA is only 2.2 (20 states have no coast !)
Australia (3.4) but over 90% lie on the Coast ! Some
Countries have NO COAST ~ Austria ~ Switzerland etc !
