Life

How did I get here?

Confined to this cell.

My eyes see nothing,

My personal hell.

Head filled with lies,

I rot away.

The door is open,

Here I stay.

Time becomes meaningless,

Days into years.

I have nothing left,

Not even tears.

I float for eternity,

In and out of sleep.

This ground of dirt,

Is where I seep.

Who am I?

Does anyone know?

Into this soil,

Is where I now grow.

Nothing can free me,

I cry alone.

No one can save me,

This is my home.

Oh well.
