A-A-A

Accordion beast

Outside has stopped

quite and empty, a canvas to be torn

four walls have trapped us in a cocoon of events

tired and spent

And here we hear a singular beast

of two bodies

of two minds

we rise and fall like fat birds reaching for the sky

never learning, never stopping.

charged up breath in an accordion lung between us

two tandem notes playing life

in and out

in and out.

I ask for this breath to be the only movement allowed

for god to give me time

to let our hair intertwine

and our fingers fumble

give me time to conquer this battle.

as we move in

and out and in and

out.
