THE TRIUMPHANT CAMBRIDGE MEN\'S CREW !
ONLY TWO BOATS ~ on Old Father Thames
OXFORD & CAMBRIDGE ~ you have to choose
THE whole Country watches ~ both boats
HOPING their favourite won\'t lose !
I\'VE had dealings with CAMBRIDGE

IS always LIGHT BLUE
ON SATURDAY Cambridge had a clean sweep
TECHNIQUE versus BRAWN ~ it made Oxford weep !
THEY won all four* races ~ none of them close
EACH BOAT gave Oxford ~ a slap on the bows !
ONLY 4 miles to CHISWICK from PUTNEY
Rowers from BRITAIN ~ OZ ~ Europe and USA
All fighting fit in their DARK / LIGHT BLUE kit
But I\'m pleased it was Cambridge\'s Day !
Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ Love BRIAN
* I should explain that there are four races on the day
O & C Men ~ O & C Ladies and a two races with the
Reserve (Men) and Reserve (Ladies) Teams. It is a very
Middle / Upper Class event ~ An event that showcases
Britain at its very best ! The first Lady\'s race took place
in 1927 the Men\'s in 1859 ! Comments welcome ~ XOX
